Bean Sprouts with Ginger

Ingredients:
  • 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 1-inch fresh root ginger, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lb. bean sprouts

Directions:

  1. Heat the oil in a wok.
  2. Add onion and fry until soft.
  3. Add ginger and stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the remaining ingredients, increase the heat to moderately high and stir fry for 3 minutes, or until the bean sprouts are cooked through but still crisp.
  5. Served at once.
